GSL (Gluteal, Sacral, Lumbar Therapy)

Gluteal, Sacral, Lumber therapy is something that John started during the start of his career working with professional athletes and bodybuilders. He found that working the muscles that attach to the sacrum helped to balance out the sacrum and help the gait of the athletes that he was working with.

This helped to increase their performance, as well as prevent injury and pain. Keeping the sacrum balances helps to keep the spine straight, prevent pack and neck pain, and even helps with the treatment of TMJ (temporal mandibular joint disfunction).

During treatment, each side is draped appropriately to allow the muscles attaching to the sacrum to be worked. It is the tension within these muscles that can pull the sacrum out of alignment.
Assessments are done prior to and sometimes during treatment to keep track of  progression.

GSL does not need to be performed on just athletes however, it is extremely useful for all ages and many different conditions.
